Obasanjo criticizes Tinubu’s handling of fuel subsidies and the Niger coup.

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo has knocked the administration of President Bola Tinubu over poor implementation of the removal of subsidy from petroleum products as well as the floating naira.
In a statement made available to journalists on Sunday by his Special Assistant on Media, Kehinde Akinyemi, Obasanjo also condemned Nigeria’s approach to the coup in the Republic of Niger.
According to the ex-president, the three decisions taken by the the government were all necessary but wrongly implemented thereby leading to the impoverisation of the economy and of Nigerians.
Speaking on the way forward, Obasanjo highlighted production and productivity which belief and trust in government leadership will engender while adding that the government ought to do more to attract foreign investments.
