The Nimbo community in Uzo-Uwani Local Government Area of Enugu State has again come under attack by suspected Fulani herdsmen.
According to sources the gruesome attack, which took place late Sunday evening at Ugwuijoro Nimbo community, claimed the lives of four persons, leaving many others critically injured.
A gruesome video that is being circulated on Monday morning showed a deserted community, with a voice in the video revealing that the invaders took the villagers by surprise and shot sporadically at the mourners.
Meanwhile, the Police Public Relations Officer, (PPRO), Enugu State Command, DSP Daniel Ndukwe is yet to leave a response as regards the incident.
Olisa Ndah’s agent, Mike Makab has revealed that persistent injuries scuttled his client’s ambition of playing abroad Ndah was linked with a move to Serie A and Major League Soccer (MLS) clubs last summer following his impressive displays for South African club, Orlando Pirates. The 27-year-old has however failed to feature regularly for the Bucs in recent times as he struggled to stay on his feet.
