Army Releases Delta Monarch

Nigerian Army has released the traditional ruler of Ewu Kingdom, Clement Ikolo, who was taken into custody after turning himself in over the gruesome murder of 17 soldiers in his kingdom in Delta State on March 14th, 2024.
Recall that, the traditional ruler was earlier declared wanted by the Defence Headquarters DHQ) alongside seven others for their alleged involvement in the killing of the soldiers in Okuama community of Ughelli South LGA of the State while on peace mission.
He was released during a briefing at the Army Headquarters in Abuja today, addressed by the Director of Army Public Relations, Onyema Nwachukwu.
