PENGASSAN promises to continue its strike against the Rivers oil company.

Members of the Petroleum and Natural Gas Senior Staff Association of Nigeria have picketed the premises of BelemaOil Producing Limited in Port Harcourt to protest alleged three months unpaid salaries and maltreatment of workers.
The association said their action was in solidarity with the workers who gathered at the entrance of the company at about 9am displayed several placards to drive home their demands.
Okusi, further alleged that the firm. engaged the workers without conditions of services attached, and with no concern for their welfare.
He called on the company’s management to as a matter of urgency addressed the concerns of the workers to forestall what he termed the mother of all protest by PENGASSAN and in solidarity to address the plight of our people at BelamaOil Producing Limited.
