Attacks continue and the situation on the ground remains dire despite a UN Security Council resolution calling for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza during Ramadan.
The Israeli military says that during an airstrike earlier this month, it killed Hamas commander Marwan Issa. And Hamas political bureau official denies any proof of the death and charges psychological warfare on the adversary.
Israeli attacks on Gaza since October 7 have resulted in at least 32,414 Palestinian deaths and 74,787 injuries. 1,139 people have been confirmed killed in Israel as a result of Hamas’s October 7 strike; many more are currently in detention.
