Abia State Governor, Alex Otti, expressed sorrow over the tragic loss of three medical students from Abia State University, Uturu, in a recent accident on the Enugu Port Harcourt Expressway.
The fatal incident occurred as the students were returning to Aba after attending a ceremony at their university’s main campus.
The Public Relations Officer of the university, Chijioke Nwogu, confirmed the heartbreaking event.
Governor Otti, through his Chief Press Secretary, Kazie Uko, lamented the loss of the young medical students, noting the state’s ongoing efforts to enhance the education and health sectors.
Governor Otti extended sympathies to the affected students’ families and the authorities of Abia State University, Uturu, while praying for comfort and healing during this difficult time of grief.
