The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) reports that Nigerians consumed a record-breaking 721,522 terabytes of data in January.
This marks the highest data usage in a single month since the Commission began sharing statistics.
Despite a decrease in the number of internet users from December to January, data consumption continued to rise, with December 2023 seeing 713,200 terabytes consumed due to heightened holiday activities.
This surge in data usage signifies a growing reliance on digital connectivity among Nigerians.
