Frank Geng-Quangrong, 47, a Chinese national, was sentenced to death by hanging by the Kano High Court for the murder of Ummukulsum Sani, 22, his Nigerian fiancée.
On September 16, 2022, a horrific tragedy took place at Kano’s Janbulo Quarters.
The ruling was given on Tuesday by the case’s judge, Justice Sanusi Ado-Ma’aji.
The testimony provided by the defendant is erratic. Justice Sanusi declared, “I hereby find him guilty.”
He also asked the governor of Kano State to take the convict’s request for clemency into consideration.
