CEO of UBEC Bobboyi wants to see successful educational initiatives implemented.

The Executive Secretary, Universal Basic Education Commission, UBEC, Hamid Bobboyi, has charged Chairmen of State Universal Basic Education Boards, SUBEBs, on the implementation of the Effective School Programmes, ESP.
Bobboyi gave the charge while speaking at the UBEC-SUBEBs meeting in Abuja on Monday.
He said the implementation of the ESP would lead to improved learning conditions and processes thereby producing basic education graduates with effective life skills.
Bobboyi further noted that equipping students with skills would enable them to effectively participate and compete favourably in the 21st-century knowledge economy.
He added that with the distribution of instructional materials, installation of a satellite-based education system, and training of head teachers and teachers, effective schools would follow immediately.
He said Nigeria is second in terms of literacy level in Africa noting that the full implementation of smart education would rank Nigeria as first in Africa.
