Gunmen attack Imo farm settlement

Gunmen at the early hours of yesterday, attacked the Correctional Service Farm Settlement at Umualomoke in Okigwe Local Government Area of Imo State.
The hoodlums also reportedly killed a Police Inspector, abducted the officer in charge of the place and set free seven inmates from the centre.
Imo state police public relations officer, Henry Okoye who revealed this in a statement, said that the Commissioner of Police, Aboki Danjuma in synergy with other security agencies have vowed to leave no stone unturned in apprehending those behind the incident after visiting the scene of crime.
Okoye also stated that a former lawmaker, Patrick Ndubeze was also attacked the same day in the area.
