Controversial Nigerian media personality Ifedayo Olarinde, popularly known as Daddy Freeze, has said South African singer Tyla deserved her victory over Nigerian artists at the 66th Grammys.
Some aggrieved Nigerian music fans have questioned the choice of Tyla’s ‘Water’ over hit songs by Nigerian artists, accusing the Recording Academy of complicity.
However, reacting during a recent Instagram live session with fans, Daddy Freeze insisted that Tyla’s Grammy win was well deserved.
