EFCC accuses auctioneers of being dishonest and responsible

The Chairman, Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Ola Olukoyede, has charged auctioneers in the country to be guided by probity, fairness and accountability in assets disposal.
A statement by EFCC spokesperson, Dele Oyewale, disclosed that Olukoyede said this when he received a delegation of the National Association of Auctioneers, NAA, on Monday in Abuja.
He admonished the auctioneers to always operate in accordance with the extant rules and moral high ground for better service delivery to the nation.
He said Probity, fairness and accountability are the core values that drive their work in the commission. Noting that they are together in the war against corruption.
According to him, the visit has shown the good relationship between the Commission and the group, assuring that the relationship would be sustained.
