Tinubu okays N9.8bn for workers’ life assurance

The Federal Executive Council, presided over by President Bola Tinubu, on Wednesday, approved the sum of N9.8bn as renewal fees for the Group Life Assurance for Federal Government workers, in case of unforeseen eventualities in the course of their duties.
This is according to a statement disclosed by the Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, after Wednesday’s FEC meeting.
Idris told State House correspondents that the approval was sequel to a memo presented by the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Dr Folasade Yemi-Esan.
