UNIZIK Suspends Staff for Forgery

An employee of Nnamdi Azikiwe University in Awka, Anambra State, Nwafor Nwesuzor has been suspended by the university’s authorities for allegedly fabricating his degree and exemption certificate from the National Youth Service Corps.

This was disclosed in a press statement issued by the Special Adviser to the Vice Chancellor on Public Relations and Special Duties, Emmanuel Ojukwu, on Thursday.

Ojukwu said the forgery was discovered when Nwesuzor, an administrative staff member, wrote to the university requesting to change his degree result.

Ojukwu announced that Nwesuzor was suspended for six months while his case would undergo other processes before final action.
