Novak Djokovic, has moved back to the top of the ATP rankings released on Monday, while Rafael Nadal dropped out of the top 100.
It was a 388th week as the world’s number one for the 36-year-old Djokovic, who jumped two places in the standings after his French Open victory.
Russian Daniil Medvedev, who crashed out in the first round of Roland Garros, also dropped a place, while Norway’s beaten finalist Casper Ruud stays in fourth, 40 points ahead of Greece’s Stefanos Tsitsipas.
Fourteen-time French Open winner Nadal, who has been absent through his long-term hip injury, dropped 121 places to 136th in the rankings.
Dino Topmoeller has been named the new manager of Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt until 2026. The club announced this today. Eintracht Frankfurt’s sporting director Markus Kroesche welcomed the new coach in a statement, saying it was only a matter of time before Dino Topmoeller became a head coach in the Bundesliga. Topmoeller had recently been employed as Julian Nagelsmann’s assistant coach at Bayern Munich
