Anambra Seals Three Hospitals for Operating with Fake Licenses

Anambra State Ministry of Health has sealed three hospitals operating with fake licenses and quack health workers.
The Head, Medical Services Department in the ministry, Chukwulobelu Ugochukwu, led the team to the facilities located in Alor, Idemili South Local Government Area of the state, on Wednesday.
Ugochukwu stated that the hospitals were shut by Health Facility Monitoring and Accreditation Team for operating without a license, forged license, unqualified staff or in an unhygienic environment.
He noted that the closure did not affect in-patients, as he cautioned residents against patronizing such unapproved facilities, but to rather visit government general hospitals for proper medicare.
