School Shooting in Serbia Claim Lives

At least eight children and a security guard have been killed in a rare school shooting in Serbia.

Officials say the suspect is a 14-year-old seventh grade student.

Police later said the suspect reported the attack to the police himself, confessing to the shooting.

Head of Belgrade police, Veselin Milic,  revealed that the attacker had two guns and two petrol bombs.

FG Deduct N78bn from Allocations Made to States

The Federal Government deducted over N78bn from allocations made to the states for external debt servicing. According to data from the Federation Account Allocation Committee Disbursement, the deductions were made in 2022 from the allocations given to state governments from the Federation Account. At least N4.27bn, N2.74bn, N2.62bn and N2.15bn were deducted from Oyo, Rivers, Ogun and Edo states respectively.
