Federal Government to Repatriate Nigerian Students in Sudan

The Federal Government has said it is consulting to evacuate Nigerian students in Sudan.

This was contained in a statement signed by the Media, Public Relations and Protocols Unit, Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, NIDCOM, Gabriel Odu.

The statement noted that NiDCOM was in consultation with the National Emergency Management Agency, which is in charge of emergency evacuations, and also with the Nigerian mission in Sudan and other relevant agencies.

Recall that Sudan is currently witnessing hostility between the Sudanese Army and the paramilitary group, Rapid Support Forces.
