Court Finds Ekweremadu Guilty of Organ Trafficking

A UK Court has convicted former Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu; his wife Beatrice and their doctor, Obinna Obeta of organ trafficking.

The Prosecutor, Hugh Davies, revealed that the Ekweremadus and Obeta had treated the man and other potential donors as disposable assets.

Davies noted that the former Deputy Senate President, his wife, and their doctor were found guilty of facilitating the travel of a young man to Britain with a view to exploit him.

The judge, Justice Jeremy Johnson, will pass sentence at a later date.
