The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has announced that the commission is setting up a legal team to deal with cases of electoral offenders in the presidential and National Assembly polls.

Chairman of the Commission, Mahmood Yakubu,  made this known at the meeting of the Inter-Agency Consultative Committee on Election Security in Abuja.

Yakubu revealed that the forthcoming governorship and state Houses of Assembly elections will be more demanding than the presidential poll.

The Chairman advised political parties to caution their supporters, ahead of the March 18 governorship  and state Assembly elections.
