The Federal Government has commended international observer missions that monitored the presidential and National Assembly elections.
This was contained in a statement signed by the Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Francisca Omayuli.
The statement noted that the support from observers contributed immensely to the promotion of democratic processes in Nigeria.
Former Nigerian President, Goodluck Jonathan is set to be honoured, in Kigali, Rwanda. Jonathan will be honoured with the African Democracy and Peace Icon Award. The award seeks to recognize Africans, who have written their names in the history of time through remarkable achievements across the globe.
