INEC Maintains Neutrality Stance

The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has insisted that it is not supporting any candidate or any political party in the general elections.

Chairman of the Commission, Mahmood Yakubu, made this known when he addressed Supervisory Presiding Officers, SPOs, for the 2023 general election.

Yakubu demanded neutrality from electoral officers, assuring that the commitment of the Commission is to the process.

The Chairman stated that INEC will ensure that the process is what it should be, adding that the choice made by Nigerians will determine the outcome of the process.
