Newly Elected NLC President Promises to Pursue New Minimum Wage

The newly elected National President of the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, Joe Ajaero, has assured that the Congress will pursue a new national minimum wage.

Ajaero gave the assurance while delivering his inauguration address after he was sworn in as President of the NLC.

The New President noted that the NLC would engage the Federal Government on how to cut down on the cost of governance.

Ajaero was elected president of the NLC at the 13th National Delegates Conference at the International Conference Centre Abuja.
