PDP Loses Governorship Candidate in Abia

The Governorship candidate of the People’s Democratic Party in Abia State Uche Ikonne, is dead.

His son, Chikezie Uche-Ikonne announced this in a statement issued to newsmen on Wednesday.

The statement revealed that Ikonne died today at the National Hospital Abuja after a brief illness.

It added that further details and arrangements would be made known to the public after deliberations and meetings are made within the family.
