Yakubu Dismiss Rumors of Postponing Elections

The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has revealed that the 2023 general election is for young people in Nigeria.

INEC Chairman, Mahmood Yakubu, disclosed this while giving a breakdown of voter registration and collection of Permanent Voter Cards at his address at Chatham House, London.

Yakubu noted that records on ground showed that the election would be dominated by the Nigerian youth.

The Chairman dismissed any speculation of plans to put off the elections scheduled for February 25th and March 11th, assuring that the Commission is not contemplating on postponing the 2023 general elections.
