A Group called the Imo PDP stakeholders has rejected the nomination of a former Deputy Speaker, Emeka Ihedioha, as the Chairman of the Atiku Abubakar Presidential Campaign Council in Imo State.

A statement signed by the Spokesperson of the group, Ik Ogbonna, revealed that the group has summoned a stakeholders meeting to discuss the composition of the campaign council.

The statement frowned at an attempt to use the Campaign Council as an extension of Ihedioha’s Campaign Council.

It, therefore, called on the National Working Committee and the Presidential Candidate of the party, Atiku  to arrest the situation urgently to ensure victory for the party.
