Ebonyi state Governor David Umahi has presented the 2023 budget estimate for the State.
The budget, which is tagged Budget of Divine Mandate Consolidation and Continuity is estimated at N139 billion.
The Governor explained that the 2022 Budget has been implemented to 75%, noting that he was satisfied that Government was fast in executing the 199 kilometer Abakaliki Ring Road project.
Recall that the State Governor had said the budget will prioritize areas like health, education, Agriculture, Infrastructure and Human Capital development.
Indigenes of Onuimo Local Government Area of Imo State have decried the rate of poor road infrastructure in their communities. Speaking with Boss Radio Rural Assessment Team an indigene, Franklin Chinedum laments the poor state of the road in the communities. A community leader, Chibundu Eze, states the effect of erosion on the roads and appeals to the government to come to their aide.
