INEC Promises to Conduct Credible Elections in South East

The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has assured the South East of its resolve to conduct free, fair, and credible elections in 2023.

INEC Administrative Secretary in Enugu State, Chidi Nwafor, gave the assurance at the capacity building workshop for voter education providers in the state.

Nwafor maintained that the Commission is doing everything possible for sustainable democracy in Nigeria, which only credible election would guarantee.

The Secretary noted that the workshop had come at a time when it became important to address the rising scourge of voter apathy, especially with collection of PVC ongoing.
