The Confederation of African Football, CAF, has announced a deadline for countries to declare interest in staging the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
CAF announced that the final date for declaration is November 11 2022.
It added that finalized bids, including documents, proposed host cities and government guarantees, will reach its Cairo headquarters by 16 December.
Caf inspection teams will tour bidding countries from 5 to 25 January 2023 in its quest to find a suitable replacement for Guinea.
Non-Academic Staff Union of Educational and Associated Institutions NASU, said it expects the Federal. Government to pay salary arrears for the four months their industrial action lasted. General Secretary of NASU, Peters Adeyemi, revealed this while addressing newsmen in Abuja. Adeyemi noted that NEC expects the federal government to make arrangements for payment of the salary arrears.
