Kaduna Government Propose N291.9 billion 2023 Draft Budget

Kaduna state government has earmarked the sum of N65 billion on education from the N291.9 billion 2023 propose draft budget.

The State Commissioner for Planning and Budget Commission, Umma Aboki, revealed that the education sector has been an area of priority and the state had continued to appropriate at least 25 percent of its annual budgets to it.

Aboki maintained that education had about 27 percent increase in the 2023 proposed draft budget, which showed the State Government’s determination in providing quality education at all school levels.

The Commissioner noted that the State was the only state in the country that had continued to provide 40 percent of its appropriation to education in the last seven years.
