Federal Government Yet to Approve New Payment Platform

The Federal Government has said the payment platform surrounding the protracted industrial strike embarked by the Academic Staff Union Universities, is yet to be approved.

Minister of Education, Adamu Adamu, disclosed this while fielding questions from newsmen in Abuja.

According to Adamu, the decision to approve the payment platform is left for President Muhammadu Buhari.

Recall that ASUU had demanded that its members be exited from IPPIS payment platform to the University Transparency Accountability Solution provided by the Union.
