PDP Berates Federal Government Over ASUU’s Strike

The People’s Democratic Party has berated the Federal government over the lingering strike by the Academic Staff Union of Universities.

A statement issued by the Party’s National Publicity Secretary, Debo Ologunagba, lamented the failure of the All Progressives Congress government to end the industrial action.

The statement accused the ruling Party of relishing the agony, pain and suffering of Parents and Students in Public Universities.

Tambuwal Denies Resigning as PDP Governor’s Forum Chairman

Sokoto State Governor, Waziri Tambuwal, has denied resigning from his position as Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party Governors Forum. The denial was contained in a statement signed by the Director General of the Forum, C. Maduabum, and made available to newsmen on Friday. The statement urged stakeholders of the Party and the public to disregard the purported reports of his resignation.
