Ebonyi State Governor, David Umahi, has inaugurated the newly-elected 13 Council Chairmen and the 171 Councilors in the State.
Umahi, during the inauguration disclosed that the order granted by the State High Court empowered him to swear in the Council Chairmen.
Recall that a Federal High Court had voided the said election that produced the 13 Local Government Chairmen that was conducted by the State Independent Electoral Commission.
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has arrested 41 suspected Internet Fraudsters in Awka, Anambra State. According to the Commission, the suspected Fraudsters were arrested after intelligence revealed their alleged involvement in cybercrime and other related activities. The Commission noted that all arrested would be charged to Court after investigations are concluded.
