EFCC Arrests Speaker of Ogun House of Assembly

Reports say the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has arrested the Speaker of Ogun State House of Assembly, Olakunle Oluomo.

According to reports Oluomo was arrested over allegations of offences bordering on financial crimes, at the Murtala Muhammad Airport, Lagos State.

He was said to have been on the wanted list of the commission following his failure to honor EFCC invitation several times.

The speaker and some others were accused of forging signatures and financial documents of the assembly.
