Malaysia’s Ex-Prime Minister Tests Positive for COVID-19

Malaysia’s former Prime Minister, Mahathir Mohamad has been admitted to hospital after testing positive for COVID-19.

A statement issued from Mohamad’s Office disclosed that he has been confirmed to have the virus on Wednesday morning.

The statement revealed that the former Prime Minister is admitted to the National Heart Institute for observation.

Recall that the 97-year-old has a history of heart problems and spent an extended period in hospital in late January.
