Lecturers Protest Over Unpaid Allowance in Anambra

The lecturers of the Federal College of Education, Technical, FCET, Umunze, Anambra State, have protested over six years of unpaid allowances.

Chairman, Umunze chapter of the Colleges of Education Academic Staff Union, Churchill Okonkwo, accused the school management of neglecting the lecturers’ welfare packages.

Okonkwo stated that the management is yet to address the fundamental issues.

He alleged that the Provost and management of the institution were intimidating them not to protest.
