NDLEA Decry Increased Drug Abuse Among Youths

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, and the Initiatives Against Addiction and Substance Abuse in Nigeria, have decried the high drug abuse among Nigerian Youths.

NDLEA Chairman, Buba Marwa, during a Conference of the Initiatives in Abuja, advocated for drug integrity tests for intending Couples, Security Agencies, Drivers, Students, Politicians, and Parents.

Marwa warned that the increase in the use of cannabis and other drug traffickers is a major challenge to Nigeria’s Social Structure and a threat to the Country’ Economy.

The Nigeria Police Force has issued a strict warning on the misuse of Police Uniforms on Social Media. According to the Inspector-General of Police, Usman Baba, the use of Uniforms is only restricted to Officers of the Force.
