Pakistan Declares National Emergency Over Flood
Pakistan government has declared a National emergency over devastating flood as monsoon rains continue to lash the Nation. According to the Country’s National Disaster Management Authority, at least 937 people have died since mid-June, including 343 children, adding that more than 30 million are without shelter. The Country’s Prime Minister, Shehbaz Sharif, however, appealed for funds from friendly Countries and International institutions amid the worst flooding in decades.
