Federal Government Appeals to Health Personnel

The Federal government has reiterated its assurance that measures are being deployed to address the brain drain in Nigeria.

Minister of State for Health, Joseph Ekumankama gave the assurance while speaking to newsmen at the Federal Medical Centre, Ebute Meta, in Lagos State.

Ekumankama admitted that the mass relocation of Health Personnel was a problem and worrisome.

The Minister appealed to Doctors and Nurses to remain in the Country to see the efforts of the government.

Congo Records New Ebola Case

The Democratic Republic of Congo has confirmed a new case of Ebola. This was disclosed in a statement issued by the Country’s Health Ministry. The statement noted that tests showed that the case is linked to a previous strain of the virus from 2018 and was not a new variant. It reassured the Public that Officials were at work to respond to the situation.
