FIFA has suspended the Indian football federation

According to FIFA, its council unanimously decided to suspend the All India Football Federation due to undue influence from third parties, which constitutes a serious violation of the FIFA statutes.

It added that the Country will currently not be able to host the under-17 Women’s World Cup in October.
