Buhari Congratulates Kenyan President Elect

President Muhammadu Buhari has congratulated the President-elect of Kenya, William Ruto, on his victory in the just-concluded presidential election.

This was disclosed in a statement signed by the Special Adviser to the President Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina.

The statement commended the people of Kenya for the peaceful and transparent outcome of the elections.

EFCC Arrests Illegal Refiners in Rivers

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has arrested 120 people for alleged oil theft. Spokesperson of the Commission, Wilson Uwujaren disclosed that the agency carried out a joint operation with personnel of the 6 Division Garrison, Nigerian Army in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. Uwujaren stated that the suspects were accused of illegally refining stolen petroleum products and economic sabotage. He added that the suspects will be charged to court as soon as the investigation is concluded.
