Makinde Overhauls Security Architecture in Oyo

Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, has revealed that his administration has overhauled the security architecture in the state.

Makinde made this known in a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Taiwo Adisa, and made available to newsmen in Ibadan, the state capital.

The statement maintained that his administration is doing everything within its capacity to make the state safe and secure for every citizen.

It, however, assured that his administration will continue to protect the interest of all stakeholders irrespective of their religious or ethnic affiliations.

Residents of MCC Uratta in Imo state have raised alarm over the poor state of their roads. While narrating her plight, a resident, Esther Ukachi, who spoke vernacular, urges the state government to come to their aid. Also speaking, Chinyere Osuji, implores the state government to ensure that the construction of the road is well supervised. Another resident, Pamela Okeke, says lives have been lost on that road.
