Donald Trump’s Republican Party has come to the former United States President’s defence after FBI Agents conducted a search at his residence in Florida.
House Minority Leader, Kevin McCarthy disclosed in a statement that the Department of Justice has reached an intolerable state of weaponized Politicization.
Trump, however, described the search as part of a Democratic-led Political push to prevent him from running again in 2024.
Meanwhile, the White House Spokeswoman, Karine Jean-Pierre stressed on Tuesday that President Joe Biden had no knowledge of the search before it happened.
The Nigeria Customs Service has denied reports that a special auction of over 7000 cars would soon be held by the Service. A statement issued by the Customs Public Relations Officer, Timi Bomodi, urged Nigerians to go online to the electronic auction platform for authentic information on auctioning. Bomodi stated that e-auction remained the only authentic means of auctioning goods by the Service to members of the public.
