The prices of food have continued to soar in the popular Eke Onuwa market in Imo state, as the prices of tomatoes and pepper increases.

The director of Half of a Yellow Sun and co-director of Blood Sisters, Biyi Bandele, is dead. Bandele’s death was announced in a statement released on his Facebook page by his daughter, Temi Bandele. According to the statement, the prolific filmmaker died in Lagos state, on Sunday.
