Student’s Union Decry ASUU’s strike

The Council of Student’s Union Presidents, CSUP has lamented on the prolonged strike by the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU.

Student Union President, Federal University of Technology Minna, Ishaka Yahaya, while speaking at a news conference in Abuja, said the Federal government and ASUU have nothing to lose amid the strike.

Yahaya noted that many Students who were to be in school, resorted to doing other jobs, were being kidnapped and killed in the process.

He urged the government to look into the demands of ASUU and attend to them to enable Students return to School.
