Nigerian Equities Extend Losing Streak

Nigerian equities has opened the week extending its losing streak for the fifth consecutive session as investors’ investment declined by N313 billion.

The All Share Index decreased by 579.39 absolute points, representing a dip of 1.11 per cent to close at 51,400.53 points.

Similarly, the market capitalization lost N313 billion to close at N27.718 trillion.

FG to Develop Strategy to Eliminate Hepatitis

Federal Government says it has developed a National Strategic Framework for eliminating viral hepatitis in the country by 2030. The Minister of Health, Osagie Ehanire, disclosed this during the commemoration of the 2022 World Hepatitis Day in Abuja. Ehanire said the framework was in line with the Global Health Sector Strategy for viral hepatitis control.
