Osun State Police Command has cautioned Ademola Adeleke, and his supporters to apply moderation while celebrating his victory in the just concluded gubernatorial election.
A public announcement signed by the Command’s spokesperson, Yemisi Opalola, urged Adeleke’s supporters to avoid derogatory language that could cause breach of the peace in the State.
The Command maintained that hoodlums, criminals and thugs were likely to capitalize on the guise of celebration to jeopardize the peace of the State.
Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodinma has approved the appointment of Raymond Ucheoma as the new Head of Service. A statement issued by the Secretary to the Government Cosmas Iwu, said the appointment was with immediate effect. The statement noted that Iwu Ucheoma takes over from Camelius Iwuagwu. It charged the new Head of Service, to bring his wealth of experience to bear in his new assignment.
