A Federal High Court in Abuja has dismissed a suit seeking the disqualification of the Candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Adegboyega Oyetola, from the State Governorship election scheduled for Saturday.
In his ruling, the presiding Judge, Inyang Ekwo held that the suit filed by the plaintiff failed to disclose any cause of action.
Justice Ekwo ruled that the suit instituted against Oyetola constituted a gross abuse of court process.
The Chief Justice subsequently dismissed the suit.
Smate and Smate have announced a date for the first annual gathering of Arts. The event which is tagged ‘The Art of Sports’ is set to hold on the 30th of July 2022, at the Owerri Sports Club, New Owerri, Imo state. Organizers revealed that the event is aimed at promoting the best arts through sports.
