Ahead of the July 16 governorship election in Osun state, the Inter Party Advisory Council, IPAC, has urged political parties not to induce security men during the poll.

National chairman of IPAC, Yabagi Sani, gave the advice in Osogbo, the state capital.

Sani implored candidates to avoid actions that could trigger violence or compromise the credibility of the poll.

The Chairman appealed to security agencies to provide security during the election, and embark on their assignment with maximum professional and ethical standards.
