United Nations Warns Against Hunger in Haiti

The United Nations World Food Programme, has warned that hunger is set to worsen in Haiti amid worsening gang violence.

A statement issued by United Nations noted that insecurity around the Haitian capital has made it difficult for people to access and afford food.

More than one million people in the country’s capital are already food insecure and deliveries of homegrown supplies cannot get there by road.
